Latest Bud Light Ad

Postby Brent Burns on Sat Jan 06, 2007 8:00 pm

That has to be one of the funniest ads I've seen so far. Wonder if that would make the Funniest Ads of 2007 at the end of December, 2007?

This ad is about a guy telling that you can not break the Bud Light bottle because the floor has a lot of rubber. You could throw it and let it bounce to that guy. They did the same thing with the remote control. Nearing the end of the ad, a lady with a pizza box came to the front door, and someone opened the door. A dog was sitting on a chair and ran and bounced off the floor way out of the door past the lady. This guy said, "Too much bounce."

That commercial has been out for a long time, probably near the beginning of the NFL season. Its strange though that I can't even find it on the budlight website. All they have are the stupid ads with Ted Ferguson. One of the best bud light commercials ever has to be the one from last years Super Bowl with the beer tree at the crappy house.

I really like the Coors Light ads in the press conferences, especially the latest with jim Mora Sr. "Hey coach, we're going to have girls at the party. We are going to talk to them about the playoffs"..."PLAYOFFS!!?" My favorite has to be the fans talking four months ago. " Isn't garcia still playing in calgary?" "LT is a great runner...Between the twenties."

This question is not exactly related to neither Bud Light nor Coors ads, but it is relevant to a beverage. Was there a single voice over for the Pepsi Ad with all the NFL players talking about getting a Pepsi drink? I am curious if the voice-overs matched with each player or a head coach such as the Cincinnati Bengals head coach saying, "Time out Time out" because of a Pepsi truck coming in?

I still like that ad where two cowboys were sitting on a fence, and one of them remarked that the one was a jackass and the other one said, "No, that is called a zebra." I believe that is an old one, yet still a good one.

My favorite is the Bud Light pole. When the guys date thinks it's for dancing, but when she opens the bottle, a guy slides down the pole and lands on her. As he says "did someone open a Bud Light?"

I'm kinda partial to the Miller High Life guy who takes back all the product from a fancy restaurant that charges $11.00 for a hamburger.

[ by the way, the Sofitel in Bloomington, MN charges $14.! ]

I echo GreyBear. I think Miller needs to expand those adds - even my son (who is 8 and whom I let watch too many tv sporting events) finds that advertisement funny.

no votes for the Man Law ads? i still like those, although the last few are kinda stale. i feel another stellar one coming for the Super Bowl.

the beer pinata one would've been good for the SUper Bowl.
peace.
