Movie oldies

I was just sitting and watching "Breakdown" involving Kurt Russell and Kathleen Quinlan. When I was watching Kurt Russell, I had to really look waaaaay back to when he was a young actor. He always reminded me of a movie he played in, so I wanted to see if some of you all remember this movie called "The Computer That Wore Tennis Shoes." Unfortunately, back then, it was not captioned; however, I was able to follow the plot a little bit easily. Some of the scenes were funny. Thanks to IMDb, I was able to find out a little bit more about the plot of this movie.

Any of your favorite movie oldies you may have?

Just adding another flavor to this Water Cooler before the build up to the National Championship game on Monday, January 8.

Little Big Man is an all-time favorite. What a movie - Dustin Hoffman at his best, and a sweeping epic. Great on the big screen.

Perhaps some of you guys may have heard of this, but it used to be a childhood favorite of mine. The soundtrack was awesome as well..."Break the Ice" "Send me an Angel" "Thunder in your Heart" to name a few.

I can't forget about Top Gun either, but that might not be old enough...and to think though, it's almost been 20 years since it came out. :shock:

I always liked The Grifters. Cusack was great, and Annette Bening was hot! She was great in Bugsy as well.

One can find this thread interesting to see which decade they grew up watching those kinds of movies. So far, mostly are 1970's and 1980's.
