All-Conference Awards

All-Conference Awards

Postby ISULAX D8 on Tue Jan 02, 2007 1:08 am

As a former member of the GRLC no longer due to graduation, I will ask once more and for the final time so as to not upset anyone. I was wondering what if any action was taken on awards, because our team board members were told that last years All-Conference awards would be presented to the representatives at this years annual meeting. As it seems no ground has been made on this issue and I just wanted to know for sure that last years players would not receive any recognition other then the sticky post received on the GRLC forum. I only ask and believe that the others that were a part of the selected two teams along with the honorable mentions wonder if it is too much to ask for someone, possibly the secretary to put the conference logo, level of achievement, position, name and at the very most the Brian Mosher presidential stamp.jk (stamp not necessary, but would look nice) I just don't see why the $15 and 30 minutes needed to go to kinko's to complete this task is so unattainable. Sorry for the rant cut and paste my post if you must, and ask me why a a piece of paper is needed and I'll tell you it's not but it would be appreciated.

I have $15 and I will try to get a spare 30 minutes. This task was inadvertently forgotten because it is not listed in any of the EB job descriptions. I'll have them completed by the 15th.

I agree with you AJ that it isn't in the job description but I guess just fact that letters of achievement were given every other year thus far would warrent one to question the change in procedure. Maybe that should be assigned to a specific position for the future?

I do not have addresses to mail these certificates to. I will mail each teams to one person. Email me with an address and the team you represent.

All-Conference Awards

Postby ISULAX D8 on Mon Apr 02, 2007 10:13 am

Illinois State's address: 101 E. Willow St.
Normal, Il 61761
These can be addressed to anyone on this years roster, last years roster, or the club president Dan Yates; the name really doesn't matter they will be able to get them to the necessary people. Hopefully now the address that the Illinois State Lacrosse Club uses at Illinois State University has been made available for the sending of the awards.

In no way should my attitude, feelings, or opinions on this subject reflect anyone afilliated with the Illinois State lacrosse Club.

Thank you.

Also Congrats to A.J. Stevens on the recent addition to the Chicago Machine staff.
