2006 Best of Water Cooler Stories

Postby Brent Burns on Thu Dec 14, 2006 8:21 pm

I thought it would be a good start to come up with the best Water Cooler stories right here on CollegeLax.us (from January, 2006 to the present).

Fire away, so we can see different suggestions for the Best 2006 CollegeLax Water Cooler story. Someone can come up with a poll for the Water Cooler guys to vote.

Not to pat myself on the back too much, but I can't stop laughing whenever I see this one. Several others thought it had merit as well!

You should get the top five or six candidates and then have a 2nd thread with a poll vote.

Gimme the Gold - the Leprechaun Song is my favorite.

Even though I am unable to download Sonny's lax podcasts, "Gimme the gold" found its way onto my ipod.

I agree with Sonny, too, so the deadline to submit nominations is today, December 15 at 5:00 pm CST.

We will go for 5 top Water Cooler Stories since I know there will be several of them coming up in this thread.

Please send me PM to tell me your preference for top 5 stories. That way, I will be able to announce the top 5 stories by 9 pm tonight. I will be incommunicado from 5 to 8 pm today.

Tomorrow, we will start voting on the top 5 stories.

UPDATE:

* 1,200 lb. hammerhead

* Soccer wives

* Bad Robber

* 3D Sidewalk Art

* Pluto isn't a planet anymore

*Gimme me gold- Leprechaun Song

This was buried in Ethan's post about ghostriding the whip - this has to be on the list!

The Gimme the Gold Rap song still makes me laugh out loud. I don't know what was funnier... the artist's rendition of the Leprechaun OR the fact that a local TV story thought this was actually news worthy in Mobile, Alabama.

Ok, we all know that the leprachaun was pretty dang funny. But as best THREAD, how can you pass up on the soccer wives thread with all the pictures and discussion with Lax_Stats? Just to bring back an old great memory...
