Actually, there are more of these pictures of the artist's rendering of the new Dallas Cowboys stadium, but this one is good to see what it would look like inside.

With the scoreboard hanging over the football field, any Physics majors on this discussion board have any idea of what kind of torque, strength, etc. while considering the winds, rain, etc. in ensuring that the scoreboard stays above and does not fall down on the field. I am sure the builders and engineers would consider that very carefully.

What is this?! A stadium for ants!!? How can we be expected to teach children to learn how to play...if they can't even fit inside the building?!!?

The roof is a little different in that it is retractable. So when nasty weather shows up they close the roof. And they had to pay homage to that old roof, how else would god watch his team play?

C'mon Brent. That's why they pay those engineers the big bucks - to plan and test their designs so that thngs like that don't happen!

Like the quote goes like this, "Most folks are like barbed wire fences. They have good points."

yourmom reminded me that the news report stated that the roof will be retractable, so snow would not be a problem anyway. Rain would not be a problem. Hopefully, the gigantic scoreboard does not fall down on the Cowboy Star on the field.

A 60 yard by 20 yard scoreboard??? That's massive. I want to know what that thing is going to weigh.

Jerry Jones does it again!

I also would like to add the Gaylord Arena and both Charlotte to the list of arenas will fallen scoreboards. Also the C.W. Post Center collapse in 1978, the Pontiac Silverdome in 1985, the UNI Dome in 1994:

The roof is a bad idea. While Dallas might provide an obstructed view of their team from above, Neyland is wide open for all to see.

I forgot to recognise this earlier. Remind me when we meet to go for lattes and have a gas pump fight while Wham! plays in the background! Oh and for what it is worth, I thought Derelict! was way ahead of its time.

Gotta go. Time for my black lung treatments. Cough! Cough!
