Football Play-off

Postby DanGenck on Wed Dec 13, 2006 9:06 am

Sports Illustrated.com is blowing their horn about a play-off.

Does anyone know a team that is clearly missing from their 8 team play-off? Sure wouldn't seem like a "fair" national championship without this team...

That'd be Notre Dame. Who only beat Bedford Women's School for the Blind, and Stanford this year.

With the playoff system that SI suggested and did not include Boise State, it looks like Ohio State will advance to the title game whereas the Gators on the other side may have to overcome several obstacles.

SI gave us the opportunity to vote on each game. I found it interesting that LSU and UCLA are neck to neck in terms of voting.

LSU is a scary, scary team to play. They have "big play capability" on every play. Not to mention their defense is ridiculous.

No Boise State? I guess SI takes into account strength of schedule....good :D
