It is a travesty that two, almost three generations have grown up believing that baseball is meant to be played indoors, let alone the Metrodome. It is a big deal to get "blown out" of the dome. They should replace "out" with "up" as soon as possible.

As for the Joe, possibly the worst planned arena or did the highway come afterwards? Nothing like exiting an arena, two feet from a busy highway.

Mellon Arena seems to have its own atmosphere. There is a layer of smog that seems to just hang there during games. Originally that building was built as the permanent home to the Pittsburgh Symphony, with the roof designed to open up, a la a observatory. The symphony played one show and it was quickly realised that the acoustics were horrible and the symphony never moved in. Take that story and couple it with that cherry picker Lemeiux and (say it with me now): Jean-Claude Van Dam! Nothing to ruin an arena quite like Sudden Death featuring ol' Jim Jones himself, Powers Booth, as the heavy!

Cameron is a nice atmosphere. I get that it is tiny because the student body is so small but the old talent position wasn't court side but was in the rafters. I saw the Soviet National team play their last game in 1991 there. I would like to that the guy from Connecticut that let me borrow his id to get in.

I draw the line at Shea. I love this park. When I think of Shea, I think of Kiner's Corner on WOR(not to mention Lloyd Lyndsay Young "Helllllooooo, Ramapooooo!!!!!). Let's Go Mets! Go!

Although I have been to Fenway Park once, I left away in awe of that hallowed baseball stadium, and I still consider it as one of my favorite baseball parks. I will never forget the day the Minnesota Twins defeated the Red Sox, yet the atmosphere at Fenway was electric and fun-filled.

Fenway Park?? You've gotta be kidding me! Yes, there are some obstructed view seats that you don't want to be anywhere near, but that place has history, and is a great place to watch a game.

When I was at a Red Wings game earlier this season I thought to myself, "damn, this must be the owrst stadium in America."

No mention of the Orange Bowl (DA O.B.)? I'm gonna have to call shenanigans on this list as the HHH dome is light years ahead of the pathetic excuse for a stadium the U calls home. I mean anyone who has ever set foot near that erector set knows that it's a disgrace to stadiums everywhere.

I completely agree with HHH metrodome - worst ever to see anything.

But Shea? One of my best childhood memories was going to the Jets/Bills game there when OJ ran wild - Not the fact that my Jets lost, but it was one of those dad/son things that was special. I cannot consign that stadium to the dung heap of stadiums without minimizing that memory.

Interestin to see new stadium on this list - The New Comisky.

I've been at the New Comisky and can verify, it sucks. It's not so bad if your in the lower seats, but just try to sit in the upper deck without having a major case of vertigo.

I still maintain that Candlestick Park in San Francisco should not only be on the list, but at the top of the list. It's just slightly better than a toxic waste dump site.

The Mellon stinks, but only becuase of age. It's really not that bad. If it was built exactly the same today it would be a nice place to catch a game. Not so much for the owners though, due to the lack of luxury boxes.

Fenway? You have to be kidding me!

After surveying several websites in relation to baseball parks, Fenway has been picked at the top or second on different sites. Can not really remember what year according to the ESPN website, they chose Fenway as the best ballpark by saying that it is the Green Monster. Enuff said.

Fenway is really one of the most venerable baseball parks, period.
