Which state of yours ranks on the healthiest list for 2006?

Postby Brent Burns on Thu Dec 07, 2006 5:07 pm

After looking at different sources, I found this one to be short and sweet. This article is based on the list produced by the nonprofit United Health Foundation in conjunction with the American Public Health Association and the Partnership for Prevention. Their survey based on its ratings on a mix of factors such as personal health, clinical care, health insurance coverage and health care policies.

Leading the list are (from the healthiest to least healthy):

1. Minnesota
2. Vermont
3. New Hampshire
4. Hawaii
5. Connecticut
.
.
.
50. Louisiana

Thank you! Thank you! Thank you all so much! Firstly, I want to say suck it Wisconsin, stop eating so much cheese. Secondly, this was a group effort, but we are still working on it. In the last 5 years or so, we have really pulled through. With the re-introduction of Krispy Kreme, a record number of fried items at the State Fair, and the return of the McRib; it really is impressive that we have been able to pull this one off. I'm sure it was in no part because of me. (orchestra starting in the background) Oh, looks like I've been up here long enough. Thank you all again, and we hope to see you again next year!

I have to admire red-staters. They go with their guts, and not their brains.
Monica Lewinsky had more president in her than George Bush ever will.

The Republicans should seriously consider nominating a McRib sandwich for president in 2008.
