The Most Divisive Issue in America Today: The McRib

Postby Sonny on Thu Dec 07, 2006 2:53 pm

This nation is divided.

Half of this country is for it, the other half is against it.

Pressed faux pork with fake bones? Is it good or is it horrible?

I just don't know.

But it appears that we've been lied to. Last year, McDonald's trotted out the McRib Farewell Tour, only to bring the sandwich back again this year. I simply don't know if I can support a pseudo-ribbed sandwich under such pretense.

Your thoughts and comments are appreciated.

If i have said it once, I have said it a thousand times: "There is not enough fast food pork products in this country!"

Hardees is the only fast food chain that seems to feature a pork sandwich on a fairly regular basis. While the McRib is seasonal, or so it would appear, Hardees comes through on the regular. As someone who comes from the midwest (though I was born and raised in Chocolate City) you can get a pork chop sandwich (bone-in) at just about every mom and pop joint in the Q. Long live the pork sandwich!

That movie is amazing. Untill that whole infected part at the end (shivers with disgust) oh and the teeth grinding thing from the old lady (shivers again.)
