Sonny and company... love the new site... definitely should have something at forums.uslia.com, though, telling people about the new site. If I didn't get a watched-topic e-mail, I wouldn't have known the new site was up.
As for the message board, I see some of the new features right off the bat... wondering what else there is that people have found... here's what I've seen in the 5 minutes since I've been here...
1) Scrolling news.... GREAT idea... I very rarely make it to the main page and sometimes miss out on breaking news when I don't notice the thread about it.
2) New replies/popular topics on main forum page... also very cool
3) Reputation points... what's this all about?
4) Main website header on all pages... much appreciated improvement!
5) I'll echo a question that's already been raised... what's with the 1/2 screen layout?
What other features are there?

We fixed the screen width issue temporarily.
Let us know what you think.

More to come. We will discuss in earnest in the coming days and weeks once we get everything settled down.

I know CollegeLax now has its Podcast, so I wonder if vidcast may be in the works some day. This may sound similar to 9.yahoo.com, but I know it would require a studio with tons of $$$. Would it be possible to have a vidcast to showcase 30-second video clips of some highlight MCLA games during the regular season and during the MCLA championships? Something low key with ingeunity to do vidcasts. I am sure Chris Park would be tied up anyway as I read that he did an outstanding job of announcing at the USL MDIA championships in Dallas last spring.

Video is expensive, point blank. We are looking into adding a new video section of the web site where users could submit lacrosse clips and folks could watch them. But it is expensive and time consuming for this new web development.
If you have any expertise in this dept., please PM or email me off line I'm also looking for potential sponsors to help underwrite this new web development on CollegeLAX.
