Who votes in the Facebook poll and what are the criteria to become a voter? Is this a fan poll?

Princeton seems a little high, but a if Hewitt improves on what he did last year, that could be about right.

Hopkins and G'Town will rely so heavily on their freshmen classes, if they produce, those rankings might be right. If the freshmen struggle, those teams will struggle.

Duke is the huge unknown. They might have the best attack unit in the nation with Danowski, Greer and Quinzani, but the question mark will be at midfield, relacing guys like Zash.

I love Denver this year...they have a brutal schedule, and will probably have to win the GWLL to make the tourney. They've got Ohio St. at home, but have ND on the road. Keep an eye out for freshman Elija Gajic from Burnaby, BC. He'll be a rock star.

Gajic's two older brothers played hockey at Michigan and Michigan State. Milan, the oldest brother who played hockey here, was arguably the best lacrosse player of the bunch (we could not get him on our team because of his hockey commitment that often lasted until the end of April).

Denver's coach Jamie Munro has started, with last years class, recruiting mostly from Colorado and other non-traditional lacrosse areas (Texas, California, etc.) It's a calculated strategy that I think may pay off for them in the long run.

There was another Gajic that just left the hockey program at Nebraska-Omaha to sign with the Colorado Mammoth.

Jamie has also done a great job in British Columbia including Geoff Snider and Matt Brown. Their early commitments for next year include another Gajic brother and Jamie Lincoln, both from Burnaby. They've also got two more coming from Highland Park, TX, following the Dickinson twins who are freshmen this year.

The Gajic family is a real class act. I've played hockey and lacrosse with both Nenad (Who left Nebraska-Omaha) and Milan (Michigan) and both are great guys, the Mammoth are lucky to have Nenad. There's a fourth brother too, don't know whether he will follow Ilija to Denver or not. Both Snider and Brown played their Junior A box lacrosse for the Burnaby Lakers, the same team that all the Gajics have played with. Garrett Billings (Virginia, First Allstar Team) is from that same Junior A team. It's good to see so many Canadians doing well down south, hurts not to see 'em in SFU jerseys though!

du is looking really strong, and look for the denver fans to be some of the best college fans in the country. With the mammoth and the outlaws having great success the denver area is really excited for the du season. I hope to see them make a strong run.
