Found this posted on an Iowa football board I read:
I really hope his slow 40 times hurt his draft chances..........along with his attitude.

I refuse to have any sympathy for the man. He pissed away his draft chances on his own. I'm going to go ahead and agree with bste_lax. I hope his slow 40 time puts him back with the pack (where he probably should be anyway...one good season hardly makes him worthy of a first round pick). I would hope he doesn't get drafted at all but I'm sure someone is going to be stupid enough to take a chance on him...

All the scouts are looking more at his attitude after his poor 40 times than at his actual time in those 40s. The majority are saying "If he quits after two bad races, what if he has two bad rushes?" Just goes to show that attitude goes a long way. Now, Troy Brown, on the other hand...that sucks.

Troy Brown's situation is a perfect illustration of the business of pro football. Yes, Brown is a great guy and was important to the Patriots because he played both sides of the ball and special teams. He exemplified the team-first attitude of the Patriots, but is he worth $5 million? He was due a 2.5 bonus this year, plus 2.5 in salary.
Brown caught 17 passed for 184 yards and a score. Returned 16 punts an average of 6.9 per and had three picks, five breakups and 17 tackles.
He's the type of person you want on your team, but his on-field contributions aren't worth $5 mil and his attitude can't make up the difference.

One of the Denver Bronco's scouts said on a local radio show he felt Clarett was a going to be a high "8th-round pick"...it took me a minute to remember the draft is 7 rounds.
