Wings trade Barrett to Titans for 2007 pick

The Philadelphia Wings have traded defenseman Bryan Barrett to the New York Titans in exchange for a fourth round pick in the 2007 National Lacrosse League Entry Draft it was announced today by Wings General Manager and Head Coach Lindsay Sanderson.

"Bryan didn't fit with our defensive plans," said Sanderson. "This trade will give him the chance to play and gives us another pick in next year's draft."

Barrett recorded 14 points (4G, 10A) in 52 games played. The Wings signed the Baltimore native as a free agent prior to the 2002 season.

The Wings open their 2007 home season on Saturday, January 13 vs. the Portland LumberJax at the Wachovia Center.
