Affordable group airfare through Southwest Group Travel

I just purchased tickets for our trip to BYU. Southwest only charged us $164 for Chicago to Salt Lake and $132 return. They gave us our 40th ticket free. This saved us over $100 per person. If you have a group of ten or more call 1-800-433-5368 to reach Southwest group travel. They are very busy & you may be on hold for a while. Another benefit is that you don't have to pay the majority of the cost until late January.

You got a very good fare from SWA, but group travel has alot of variables. Time of year, capacity and frequency of flights all have impact on group fares. I just booked my hs team into Philly for games this spring. Delta was actually the least expensive at $265 round trip SLC-PHL. Prices varied from $248 to $768! Southwest in this case was right in the middle at $388. Always get fares from at least 5 carriers and don't forget JetBlue, AirTrans, Frontier and other discount carriers.

By the way, the Illinois vs BYU game on Friday, March 16th will be broadcast live nationally on BYU-TV at 9:00PM EST.
