I once attempted to do some obsatcle course thing a couple years ago (I forget the name of the game but you jumped over logs and such) and it was a nasty 5-minute work out.

Armed Thugs Shoot 1 Person Waiting in Wal-Mart PlayStation Line
It's just sad.
Armed Thugs Shoot 1 Person Waiting in Wal-Mart PlayStation Line
PUTNAM, Conn. — On the first day the much anticipated PlayStation 3 hit shelves in stores across the country, two armed thugs in Connecticut targeted game seekers with fat wallets, shooting one person waiting in a Wal-Mart line who refused to give up money, authorities said.
It's just sad.

This is getting better....
Remember that the former V-P candidate is always not so kind to Walmart. But if the price is right and the item is desirable... all bets are off!

Wal-Mart says Edwards staffer asked for help to get PS3
Wal-Mart Stores Inc. said Thursday that a staff member for former Sen. John Edwards — a vocal critic of the retailer — asked his local Wal-Mart store for help in getting the potential 2008 presidential candidate a Sony PlayStation 3. Edwards said it was true, but a mistake on the staffer's part.
Edwards told the Associated Press that the volunteer "feels terrible" about seeking the game unit at Wal-Mart a day after his boss criticized the company, saying it doesn't treat its employees fairly.
"My wife, Elizabeth, wanted to get a PlayStation 3 for my young children. She mentioned it in front of one of my staff people," Edwards said. "That staff person mentioned it in front of a volunteer who said he would make an effort to get one. He was making an effort to go get one for himself.

Thise that are lucky enough to have a Meijer store in your area - they had set up chairs for those waiting in line inside the store by the Christmas area. they had chairs for the number of systems for sale. No need to freeze outside! They said it was going to be a big traffice draw. - smart!

On another note, I kind of saved a life today involving a PS3. The rep who came in to set up our PS3 display today had... well complications. The paramedic wasn't 100%, but he had a mix of problems from a surgery last week involving ulcers along with lack of blood, along with possible heart attack. So to toot my own horn, everyone else was walking right past him laying on the floor, they assumed he was just working on the display. While me being the good samaritan that i am stopped to see what was going on. Lo and behold 2 secs later i was dialing 911.
So you save a dude's life (a SONY rep no less) and they don't even "reward" you with a PS3?! Boooooooooo!
With all the hype about this thing, I started thinking about Mario Williams and Sam Bowie...

I'm not going to lie, the thought of stealing the display unit once the paramedics were there and all eyes were on him went through my head. But if i was going to steal from Best Buy I would have started a long time ago, but it's just not worth it and i have those dang morals that get in the way.
