Wings Bring Christmas Back For 2007 Season

The Philadelphia Wings have signed forwards John Christmas, Dan Marohl, Kyle Fiat, and Kevin Nee along with defenseman Peter Jacobs for the 2007 season, it was announced today by Wings General Manager and Head Coach Lindsay Sanderson.

Christmas, a native of Lower Merion, PA, enters his second National Lacrosse League season after being drafted in 2005 by the Wings. The 5'10", 175-pound forward recorded two points (1G, 1A) in two games for Philadelphia last season.

Marohl tied with forward Sean Greenhalgh last season to lead the Wings in scoring with 73 points (21G, 52A). The seventh-year forward was signed by the Wings as a free agent on February 6, 2003.

Jacobs, an eleven-year veteran, accumulated eleven points (3G, 8A) for the Wings last season and won 280 out of 432 face-offs. Jacobs was drafted in the 1996 Entry Draft by the Wings.

He wasn't traded by anyone. He was just signed. He's still on the Riptide, but there are overlaps in pro lax contracts between the MLL and NLL.

I think we should start a petition with Swilley for Todd to move back to Utah; I'll talk to my buddy JoAnn in personnel. Todd, I taught John Leavitt everything he knows about audio.

Kyle Started VS Portland

Postby JRA on Mon Jan 15, 2007 1:26 am

Some of the Utah coaches who attended the USL Convention were able to go watch Kyle play on Sat night in Philly.

Kyle scooped up the first GB of the game, and went head to head with Ryan Powell, a few times throughout the game It was pretty intense to watch.

Props to him for making the Journey.

And weberlax where were you?
