Denver, CO – All but three of the Colorado Mammoth’s 16 games this season will be broadcast on television, with seven airing live and four airing nationally, the team announced on Monday.

Altitude Sports & Entertainment will air nine Mammoth games this season, seven of which will be live on Altitude or Altitude2 in case of a conflict with a Colorado Avalanche or Denver Nuggets broadcast. Four Mammoth games will air nationally on Versus for the network’s National Lacrosse League Saturday night game of the week.

The Mammoth’s season opener against the Rochester Knighthawks at Pepsi Center on Dec. 30 will kick off the Versus coverage of the NLL, which will broadcast a game every Saturday at 8 p.m. Mountain time throughout the 2007 season. The Mammoth will also appear on Versus on Jan. 13 at home against the Buffalo Bandits, on Feb. 24 at home against the Portland LumberJax and on March 31 on the road against the Minnesota Swarm. The NLL All-Star Game appears live on Versus at 8 p.m. on March 10 from the Rose Garden in Portland, Ore.

Mammoth games appearing live on Altitude include home games against Portland (Jan. 25) and San Jose (April 12) and the away game at Buffalo on March 24. Live broadcasts on Altitude2 include home games against Calgary (Feb. 18) and Arizona (March 30) and away games at Edmonton (Jan. 19) and Portland (Feb. 15).

“Having four games televised nationally and seven live on Altitude or Altitude2 is great for our team and our fans,” Mammoth general manager Steve Govett said. “I’m especially excited about having six of our away games televised – three of which will be live. This is the most away games we’ve ever had televised and I think our fans will really enjoy that.”

The Mammoth game at Calgary on Jan. 20 will air on Altitude the following day at 6 p.m. and the game at Toronto on March 17 will air on Altitude on March 19 at 7 p.m. Altitude will also re-air each of the four Versus broadcasts the following day.
