Arnold's Jamie Reed was a freshman lacrosse player at Frostburg State College when he experienced a revelation. He said he doesn't remember what was going on at that moment, but he remembered it as "a light suddenly went on" and his life took a changing turn...He suddenly realized that he didn't want to be a biology major as he previously thought he would do....Reed, a 1977 graduate of St. Mary's High School, saw the light and left Frostburg....He decided he wanted to become an athletic trainer, which was not a popular profession in the 1970s.
