Western State Fall Classic

Western State Fall Classic

Postby dunkonu25 on Thu Oct 05, 2006 6:11 pm

This weekend Western State will host its 4th annual fall classic in beautiful Gunnison, Colorado. This year they expanded the field to 6 teams and divided the teams into two separate pools. On Saturday each team will play two games vs the other two teams in their pool. On Sunday the top two teams from each pool will be placed in a 4 team bracket while the 3rd place team from each pool will play each other in a separate consolation game. Does anyone want to make their picks known? I think you will see UNA and Fort Lewis fighting for the championship.

Pool A
Western State
CSU-Pueblo
Northern Arizona

Pool B
Fort Lewis
Metro State
Colorado Mines

Looks as though NAU is going to fit in perfectly in the RMLC-B this year. Nice work on getting that tourney together Western...

how were the games? was it typical fall ball(dropped passes missed gb's) or were the games more polished?

Play wasn't perfect, but more on the polished side of things. Most teams seemed to have picked up exactly where they left off last season of Spring Ball.
