That's because Christianity doesn't condemn visual depictions of Jesus.

As for the topic of this thread, who thought that sketch would be a good idea? It doesn't take a genius to know that negative backlash would come from that. I understand that if you don't do the skit based on a fear of retaliation from the Muslim community, then you're sacrificing your freedom of speech just to appease one segment of the population. Whereas I do not believe that's how it should be, sometimes you just have to swallow your pride, use some common sense, and don't write stupid sketches that offend people that have a history of violent behavior towards those who satirize/mock their beliefs.
What do you think of this story?
