Looking at the second picture that Sonny put up during Georgia Tech's early days with that uniform, I have always loved looking at those defense guys with their facemasks.

I thought the throwback uniforms looked classy. Very traditional, which I always enjoy.

I thought the uniforms looked great, personally. (They had the black shoes to match, circa 1970!) Tech's colors are white and gold. And it's hard to match a gold jersey to a gold helmet.

it might help if the team bought the same color gold for the helmets and jerseys......
peace.

Tougher than you'd think. Helmet companies do not make uniforms, so the basic colors are different. Also, colors in fabric always look different than colors painted on plastic... especially colors like gold that vary so greatly (not as much a problem with consistent colors like Navy or Scarlet, etc).

Our equipment manager at Kent gave me a heads up about this because I mentioned getting silver helmets for lacrosse this year, and he talked about how some places think silver means gray, some think gray means silver, and things can get all messed up.
