Just read from USA Today that the University of Oregon football team will have its "biggest-ever" uniform makeover- one that will give it a dizzying 384 combinations this season.
According to Paul Lukas, founder of Uni Watch, a website devoted to athletic uniforms, thinks the Ducks are a fashion disaster. He comments that "this changes the notion of what's a uniform," he says. "They are not very uniform."
The co-founder of Nike is a graduate of the University of Oregon and has given tens of millions to the school and its athletic department.

While I have always liked Oregon, and their various Uniform choices, not to mention Autzen Stadium is an awesome place to watch a game. I think this years "diamond" pattern on the shoulders is a little hideous.

The yellow helmet in the above link is awful.
The white uni's are the best imo

IMO, Oregon should stick to its green helmet, for I like the metallic look of it. The yellow one from my perspective looks like phelgm.
I would rather see Baylor start wearing its green helmets, but the purists/traditionalists prefer the "gold" with green stripes helmets.

I have to say the white is the best looking with the all green coming in second. They really need to lose the ridiculous diamond plate.
Speaking of football uniforms, I just heard that FSU will be wearing all black uniforms for their game versus Boston College. No word yet as to whether they were inspired by the lacrosse team.

I tried to post this last night, but it looks like something went wrong.
I suppose it all depends on your definition of "uniform," as in "uniform among players in one game" to "uniform across all games played by a team." But so many teams have multiple uniforms now anyway (home, away, throwback) that it's hard to argue that consistency between games is important.
Besides, while 384 sounds impressive, you can get to that with 4 jerseys x 4 pairs of pants x 3 helmets x 8 kinds of socks = 384.

They looked awesome yesterday my friends!
The team or the uniforms? Would you be saying the same thing if they lost? Just kidding!! That was a great game yesterday. The uni's didn't look that bad on TV either.

I think the uniforms must have distracted the replay officials.

I did not see the Ducks-Sooners game, but was the Oregon football player's "diamond" shaped shoulder pad near the football with the hash marks?

i was dizzy from watching the players running with the yellow stripes on their shoes mixed with the yellow/green parts of the field. can i say "Blair Witch Project?"
I just hope that the Ducks dont wear the yellow helmets with black jerseys, white pants and green shoes......
Also, is that little guy really wearing #70? or is is supposed to be #10?
