Just to make sure I've got it right. Here is what I have so far.

RD 9 goals
Files 9 goals
Sones 6 goals
Stupka 6 goals
Embry 6 goals
Forster 3 goals
Alonzo 3 minutes in penalties. All for offsides
Carr dirt only on the back of his jersey from being clocked by rookies

Did I miss any of the current alumni predictions?

So what do you give the over/under on Ric's shot attempts?
To score 3 I would think it would have to be in the 20's

Karl,

You did not mention any of Yeagy's penalties. I predict two. Both for jacking a rook up in a "friendly" game. I'll also say he's good for a couple of goals.

cheers,

Coaching staff

Looks like Yeagy is part of the coaching staff now and will not be participating in the game itself. Or else I couldn't figure out why he was at practice this week.

If you couldn't tell by the 3 man video crew I brought out, I was merely scouting. After reviewing the videotapes I can decisively say that the game will be closer than the alumni team first thought. Instead of the 52-6 victory we all decided on, we have now come back down to earth and think the game will be 47-10 after we put in our 6th string during the 3rd quarter.
I wish my grass was emo so it would cut itself.

Cage location

Postby Karl Lynch on Mon Sep 18, 2006 4:07 pm

Yeagy,

For the alumni game, we have decided to put a third cage in the parking lot next to the field so that there is better chance that you can hit something with one of your shots.

There's no doubt that Stupka will come through. Have you seen his newest move? Sweet Moves Stupka has developed the most deadly lacrosse move since the side-arm shot. It's known as the "face-roll." Even spectators on the sidelines lose balance and fall to the ground just watching Stupka perform the face-roll. Those pos rookies will be begging for merkins by the time we're done with them.

Chad, I was upset at first of you mentioning the face-roll on a thread where current players could stumble across it. But upon further thought, I'm glad you put it out there...when a hapless rookie defender is knee buckled on the ground, dazed and confused, I want their first conscious thought to be "...my god that was the Face-roll!"

How's the tennis game Karl?

What about Chad's music career? Is he still involved in that?

Actually I just got back last night from Cincinnati where we played the Midpoint Music Festival. I'd never been to Cinci before but it was a great time. We finished up our west coast tour about 3 weeks ago. Now I've got to re-focus on my real job...alumni game superstar. I'm even working with Sweet Moves Stupka on learning the ins and outs of the face-roll.

I know fall ball is for testing the newcomers to your programs rather than intense competition, but did any teams shock anyone else or look more impressive than originally thought? what were some of the outcomes?
