Pat Tillman - Remember His Name

Postby laxfan25 on Fri Sep 08, 2006 11:24 am

Received my latest issue of Sports Illustrated yesterday, with a cover story on Pat Tillman. Absolutely outstanding writing about an amazing individual. You can throw all your pre-conceived notions about this guy out the window - one of the most fascinating people I have ever read about - and a darn shame that he died so young.
If you don't get the magazine, pick up a copy. It is a great read that shouldn't be missed. He is a true hero in my book - a very complex, thoughtful individual.
Anyone else see it yet?

I'd really like to read that article.

Don't supposed it's available online?

Pretty sad what our governement did to him.

I did not realize until today that he was strongly opposed to the war he went to fight in.

What a sacrifice this guy made, truly an incredible person.

Wow. A truely inspirational story about a great man. Pat symbolizes the individualism and self-discovery that so many are missing these days. His dedication to finding his true self and never straying from it. His selfless service and duty. In my eyes, he is the true American Idol.

No, Thank you Pat Tillman! I will certainly Remember His Name. Isn't he just an incredible guy? Can you imagine if he had lived and gone into politics? We need way more people like him. Talk about the Straight Talk Express!
