Need to hear from some LSA teams

Postby Brent Burns on Sat Aug 19, 2006 7:42 pm

A few minutes ago, I sent an email to the entire LSA membership to get in touch with me for the purpose of updating the LSA master list.

I need to hear from the following teams (teams highlighted in green have already responded to me):

Oklahoma State
Houston
Tulane
Austin College
Nicholls State
Stephen F. Austin
UTA
TCU

1 more teams needed to report to me (as of 8/29/06)

Those teams will need to email me at golsalax@yahoo.com. Their other option is to send me a PM.

Thanks!

For y'all, welcome back to school for your 2006-2007 academic year. Good luck to you all in your studies and to your playing time on the lacrosse field. :D

I'd give them more than a few minutes to respond.

I have been emailing to the guy from St. Gregory's, but like you, I have not heard anything from him or anyone from SGU.

Please note that there are two teams left that we still need to hear from:

Nicholls State
St. Gregory's University

Today, I got a follow-up email from the University of Houston, so just wanted you all to know that the LSA Master List is almost completed.

This is to let everyone know that I just received an email from St. Gregory's University that they will not be fielding a team this year due to lack of participation and funding. Hopefully, some day, we will see them fielding a team as we would love to see more teams from Oklahoma.

And with the growth of all these teams from outside the Texas area will the name change ever happen?

Name change

Postby Karl Lynch on Fri Sep 15, 2006 4:06 pm

The name change can happen any year.

The articles of the LSA may be amended by a two-thirds approval of the voting members of the Alliance, provided that the amendments have been mailed, in writing, to the membership at least twenty-one days in advance of the meeting in which they are considered.

The name change can also occur if an emergency meeting is called by the President of the league.

21 DAYS!!! Awww man!!!!

I was gonna propose the Southern-Midwest Gulf-Coastern Lower Great Plains Lacrosse Association (SMGCLGPLA) at the meeting tomorrow.

Looks like my plans have been delayed ... at least for now.
