I'm sorry, but I just don't see how you jump into the top 15 by beating some teams that are ranked below that. It just doesn't make sense. Yes, I know that UMD was ranked #12, but that ranking certainly wasn't deserved based on how they played at the end of last season. It was a reputation vote, just like A&M 's ranking was. They'll crack the Top 25, but in the lower part or that range. Beat, or at least play, some teams in the top 10 before you start talking about jumping from unranked into the top 15. Constant chest-thumping and politicking won't get you there. Just ask Chapman.

Point made, CATLAXMAN. We're just taking things one game at a time. I know it sounds like a cliche, but it's all we're supposed to do.

Absolutely, Troy, agree wholeheartedly. Again, don't get me wrong on this. By no means am I trying to bash Lindenwood. In fact, you guys should be proud of your solid start and keep building on it. Be excited by all means, but some need to be careful about public politicking as it sometimes has a negative effect with the voters. It has happened in the past.

Wash U - 13
Iowa - 6

First game for the Bears all season and the Bears came out a little rusty. Iowa is a much improved team from last season. The Bears had 8 separate players score and they also had 14 penalties.

Thanks goes to Iowa for coming down this year.

Congradulations to Lindenwood on a successful weekend. Having played Illinois this year, and Duluth and Miami in the past, I know those are all quality teams. As a St. Louis boy (Clayton), its nice to see another good team emerging in the great state of Missouri. Hope to see you in Minnesota!

Also, any word on the Illinois v. Duluth game?

Also a thanks to Lindenwood's hospitality! I think all 4 teams played well, and learned alot from playing these competitive early season games.

So, thanks again Lindenwood, Illinois and Miami (oh)!

Congrats to Lindenwood on a very impressive weekend, of what sounds like, great lacrosse. I would be interested to see how they would line up against a team like Oregon or Colorado. I don't know if their at that level yet but they seem to be moving in the right direction very quickly.
