Just for argument's sake, it appears that you are saying it's not OK to be a racist, but it is OK to hate the men & women of the armed forces, the Israeli people, the "slimeball" police. Have I left anyone out?

There is a saying about glass houses. You should look it up.

How is it racist to say it is "not a surprise" that when hordes of people fleeing their country move to a new land...and have trouble getting adjusted to the lifestyle, environment, native people at first? Looking back at my "racist" history book that would apply to the Americas and those Europeans that moved here...I think the Native North Americans, Central and South Americans prolly had a problem or two with the English, Spanish and French.

Ok, I did say I hate police, then retracted and stated I "don't like" the power trip that a lot of cops have and the abuse of power that they readily use. Please show me where I say I hate the Israeli people and the military. Thank you, I'm finished with you sir. Please stop wasting my time by making spurious claims. Don't worry Catlaxman, my days here are probably numbered, so you can rejoice soon enough with the rest of the sheep.

You are misinterpreting his statement. He "thinks" it is not a surprise that Muslims are acting like this, as if all Muslims act in such a manner in each country they live in. Do you now see how it can be seen as racist?

It's awfully similar to what has happened in France in recent months. Any time you have uncontrolled immigration there will be conflict as jobs become scarce and the national infrastructure strains to absorb the new population. The problem becomes exacerbated when the immigrants refuse to assimilate with their new country or, as we have recently seen, demand that their host country actually change to accommodate them.

Europeans has some hard choices ahead of them. Countries like Sweden and France have large public welfare systems that are supported by huge tax burdens on their citizens. Waves of immigrants further stress these welfare states and that breeds resentment. These countries also have population growth rates that are nearly zero if they have not already gone negative. Their populations are aging meaning fewer working citizens and more retirees placing a burden on the economy. Responsible immigration policies could help alleviate some of these problems by providing an influx of working age immigrants that could help keep their economies growing.

Ahhh, I see what you're saying. I didn't look at it like that.

I'm just interpreting your statements recently on this board, just like you are trying to do to Sonny's statement here. You are quick to point a finger, but very slow to look in a mirror.

It doesn't take a genius to figure out what he was implying! What else could be the "surprise"? Swedish people speak better English than George Bush?

The young man from Tally is bright. Let's re-read his post again.
