See, I was trying to be nice in my e-mail before, but I guess the fact that I outed you has left you a little upset.......and I understand (seriously). It's funny, I got a private message from someone that said that you do indeed wear lots of eyeblack and always wear those super sweet high socks. Awesome Danny, I commend your originality.......but let's move on.

Let's get this out of the way. I'm not good at lacrosse and never claimed to be. I grew up around guys that are awesome and I only wish that I could have been as good as they were, but I still love the sport. I guess I just got a kick out of your e-mail and would love to be down at the tournament to see you all decked out like a D1 guy with the Cascade down all low and the straps off........that would rule.

As for your TGI Friday's comment, it's pretty obvious that you are extremely funny and I'm not even going to try and go toe to toe with the "really funny guy" that always wants to wear #69 for Summer League. No...no, seriously........that is really funny Danny.

Playing against Danny and the rest of the Florida squad for 3 years, I can't remeber if he wore eye black or if Reggie Bush stole the sticker idea from him (I got it). But what I don't understand is why G8RLAX, who appears to be a UF Lax fan doesn't give Danny Hogan the respect he deserves; or know who he is; as being one of the most pivitol players/ alumni of the team in bringing the program into the SELC and to where it is today.

g8rlax is in no way affiliated with Florida lacrosse. he's from auburn and is just upset he's had to witness us dropping bombs on auburn since 03.
i'm sure he takes extra time on his responses to come off as well spoken and extremely versed in online forum trash talking.
congratulations g8rlax, your education has paid off. now go get me some extreme fajitas and jalapeno poppers.
shame i can't make it this year, hope it's as fun as the previous. see you all in 07!

i'm flattered that someone would send you a message about what socks or eyeblack i wear. i don't routinely wear either but thanks for your interest.

Cronin- You are right. I do not know Danny and (based on your compliments) it sounds as if he is a great player, something that I was never trying to deny or attack. I have no idea of his abilities and was never looking to take a jab at that.

nine- I'm just embarrased about your quote and the whole "go get me some fast food" thing.

Anyway, I've got to stop being so awesome and go back to work. ORDER UP!!!

I think we should turn the alumni tournament into a sort of 'All Drug Olympics' and see which team can recruit the most. We can just sit on the sidelines drinking off Ken's Barrel-O'-Fun and watch. I'm sure some of the Oasis girls would be willing to make a house call down to the fields.

I heard that in his day, shoot in his present, Danny could make Justin Combs look like an ankle bitter. Hogan Rulez!

As for ringers, I am a stickler for these teams to be made of actual players that played at these schools. I remember in my day, lining up against an attackman from UGA who was telling me how he was in med school. Huh? UGA doesn't have a med school. Ah, the days of the Juggernaut! Go Vols!

The number is few but for those who went back-to-back the glory is all the sweeter! Go Vols! Return to the glory years now or continue to suck!

I hear TN is bringing in some ringer from Memphis who went to MUS. We don't have connections with Boys Latin like G8RLAX does but hey MUS is basically the next best thing to BL right?

on a side note I think we should up the fees for the tourney a few dollars so ken can give every player a complimentary tube of eyeblack for the weekend. For use on the fields or at Oasis, whichever the player chooses.

Well, some of the Auburn guys said that Jason Lewin (sp) is going to be playing with them. I don;t know much about the guy, but heard he loves to run his mouth and acts like he is a movie star.

Maybe Jason should go and play for the Wazzoo Ringers????

No offense to Auburn in any shape or fashion..... but Jason Lewin suiting up in anything else other then a Univ. of Tennessee uniform is an absolute travesty. 8-)
