Has anyone been checking out and watching http://9.yahoo.com and watch Maria Sansone talk about 9 different stories each day?
That is how I found out that it is called a video log (vlog, for short). Would USLIA.com have one like that someday?
Would not be surprised that we will see more of that mushrooming in this country and all over the world. It is already out there.
Each USLIA team could use vlogs to briefly talk about their game results on their team websites. These are endless possibilities.

There has been a little discussion about this for USLIA.com already. Video Logs are basically a type of podcasting, and since iTunes' podcast already supports video, as you said, you will see it pick up more and more as professional video equipment keeps dropping in price.
