OK, so the WCLL might have 1 or 2 good teams. Care to identify them?

UCSB and Arizona of course. You big goof.

Thank you, Matt. Exactly what I was driving at. This was just another in his long list of posts that obviously was not thought out. It's like diarrhea of the keyboard; it comes out because it just can't be stopped. The WCLL might have 1 or 2 good teams he says and, yet, there are 3 teams (SB, SSU, & AZ) ranked right at the top, one of whom beat one of the supposedly superior RMLC teams. Please, if you're going to make a statement, at least have it make some sense.

Wow, this weekend in Oregon was intense. The best and worst I have been apart of....the worst refing I've seen in seven years in the USLIA and maybe the best regular season game (Chico vs Oregon). Oregon is better than they were last year, but let's see them on a neutral field or grass. Dan Yob (attack 32) and John Messina (D 25) are very underrated. Yob had 10 goals this weekend and Messina stops anyone and everyone. 25 for Oregon is sick. Tough weekend for Chico to play at 8pm against Oregon then play Fraser at 1 on Sat. But, it had to be the best set of games in the USLIA this weekend. I just wish the pollsters were there.

It's been a few years since I officiated, but we were never required to show (prove) the illegality of a stick to a coach. We obvously explained the call and what, if anything, could be done to the stick to make it legal. Once that call is made, that's it. It is unfortunate that the head ref seemed to make this serious a call after his two associates both ruled the stick legal. It's too bad when games are decided on controversial calls.

1. The referee does not have to show/remeasure an illegal crosse to the coach.

2. Unless sohotrightnow or Hugh Nunn were inside the officials huddle at Oregon on Friday night, how do they know with any degree of certainty that two of the three officials deemed the stick illegal?

3. The final opinion about any and all calls (including illegal sticks) falls to the Head Referee. His opinion supercedes the two other referees on the crew.

Please confine all future discussion of officiating to the proper channels (conference assigning authority, conference leadership, etc.). I'm beginning to get pissed off that I sound like a broken record about this topic.

Thank you.

Oh come on, you can't tell me Sonoma is going to make any noise without their goal keeper. Not noise on par with Zona beating BYU.

I'll take this one . . . .. SONOMA BEAT ARIZONA BY FOUR GOALS!! I would say that Sonoma is the greatest unknown in the top 5 right now and could very well be a very dangerous team.
Always on point . . .
