Pink Helmets

I am watching the Team USA play the MLL All Stars. The MLL All Stars have pink helmets. They also have green jerseys. I am going to have to call the fashion police because their uniforms are an abomination.

I should try reading more. I will blame it on the summer brain drain. I love the idea of rocking the pink helmets for breast cancer, but I still am going to hate the look.

I saw one of them this weekend at the NJ Pride game. I almost tried to buy it no matter what it would cost. Then I realized they might want more than the 5 bucks I had.

I went to a hockey game this season where the San Diego Gulls (AA affiliate of the Colorado Avs) were doing the same thing with the pink jerseys. Money went to the same charity as well. Some of the jerseys fetched in a couple of thousand dollars, the lowest ones went for about $500.
