Yes, my rec league team – the Seahorses – wears navy blue shirts with a hot pink seahorse on the chest. But these are pretty cool. Not for every day wear, but for a cause.
The cowboys and cowgirls have been wearing pink shirts at the NFR for a couple of years and it's nice to see lax getting in on it.

Although the fight against breast cancer is a great cause and there are many philantropic events surrounding it, I'd appreciate a little more of a movement towards prostrate cancer. How come pro sports, especially male pro sports, don't address that as much as they do breast cancer?

The devil in me says that not enough male pro athletes know their fathers.
In addition men like breasts much more than prostate exams - which I can vouch for, having had my first "moon river" recital this year.
Hey, maybe that's it, we need a catchy logo like the pink ribbon - how about a crater-pocked crescent

The helmets look great. The LPGA has been wearing jean shorts at some events in recent years to support Lee Jeanns' effort to fight Breast and Cervical cancer.
Wow! Care to follow this up?[/quote]

I am interested in participating in the Auction the MLL has announced for those helmets. My Sister in law and mother in law have both beaten this disease and I've been wanting to make a donation for some time and this seems to be a good opportunity to do it -
But I cannot find out where to participate in the auction - does anyone know where I can do this?
Thanks in advance for any help.

Since you asked twice.
Just a broad sweeping generalization that was intended to be a indictment of the absentee fatherism prominent in the childhood of many successful american athletes.

Because so much more medical research funding goes into projects that affect men's health than women's health that the women need to raise the money on their own?

Trying!
I was bidding on the Passavia helmet because he's a WM Patriot, like me.
Now bidding on Barrage helmet as I coached their GM in College.
I may go back to Passavia if the price is right.
