In addition to his All-America honors in 1963 and '64, the West Point grad also garnered the Sydney M. Cone Trophy as the best goalie in the nation – the only player to receive the award twice.
Webb's military career included two tours in Vietnam and one in Korea. He earned two Silver Stars, four Bronze Medals, a Purple Heart and more. He was buried in Arlington National Cemetery with full honors.
