2006 NBA Finals

Postby Brent Burns on Sat Jun 03, 2006 11:20 pm

Now we have the final answer- it will be the Dallas Mavericks versus the Miami Heat for the 2006 NBA title. This will be the first time for both teams playing in the championship series.

When was the last time that NBA has seen two teams playing for the first time in the championship series? The hint is that that was done waaaaaaay before your time.

Who do you think will win the title this year? the Mavs or the Heat. Of course, I'm picking the Mavs.

MAVS!!!!!!!

Shaq will get his points as he always has played well against Dallas plus he has a thing against Dampier.

But I don't really see Miami matching up well with Dirk, don't really have someone big and athletic enough to contain him. Phoenix at least had Marion and Thomas.

I have been through the days of Martin Muursepp, Tony Dumas, and Chris Anstey. I got John Shasky's autograph at a McDonalds on a Sunday morning.....I never thought I would see the day Dallas was in the NBA Finals.

As for your trivia question, I will abstain from saying since I had to look it up earlier today for someone. :D
