The highlights of 2006 lacrosse (MDIA and NCAA)

Postby Brent Burns on Wed May 31, 2006 10:03 am

What would be the biggest highlight of the 2006 lacrosse season in the USL-MDIA and NCAA from your viewpoint?

The USL-MDIA National Championships in Plano, TX?

The Duke scandal?

UMass defeating seeded teams on the way to the national championship game?

UVa's dominating 2006 season?

Cortland State's stunning upset over Salisbury?

CSU coming back to win the title this year?

Which one of the MDIA national championship games would be considered as one of the most exciting games you have ever seen?

What about any of the DI, DII, and DIII games that would stand out as the most exciting and memorable games ever played at the Linc last weekend?

2006 DIII national championship, Cortland beats the juggernaut Salisbury in OT and snaps the win streak. The goal that sent that game to OT was a classic.

I caught the replay last night of the DIII game...classic. Probably the best game I saw all year.
