Um, aren't there usually 8 teams and 4 games in the quarterfinals? :D

The quarterfinals will be at NSC in Blaine on June 3.

AV beat PL.

The elite 8 are taking shape. Some great matchups coming for Saturday's games.

AHA beat Montiquos. Close at Half, then AHA pulled away.

Any other scores around?

Osseo score is correct. I think we were up 7-2 or 7-3 at one point fairly early. Give lots of credit to Wayzata for not quitting, I was very impressed. Our LSM broke his 3rd shaft of the season, in one of the first plays of the game. I bring that up for 2 reasons, one it is a Harrow Howitzer which is supposed to "last a lifetime" I hear, and secondly because whatever his back-up stick is he was able to use it and knock away a potential game tying goal from #27 on Wayzata, who had a sweet shot by the way, with about 15 second left. It was intense.
