Summer League

Adam is correct - you should expect a call AND e-mail from your captain sometime between the 19th and 24th of May.

IF you cannot make it to the 31rst, you have to ENSURE that captain has received your payment by that date.

Thus, do not mail to ME or LARS unless we are your captains...

Is the field astro or field turf? Is it the kind you wear cleats on or do you wear turf shoe?

Do regular cleats work best, or should I look at using a turf shoe?

short cleats work, but I go with a standard tennis shoe. I wouldn't go with a longer screw in type cleat.

We have completed the summer league draft. Those who registered for the draft should expect a phone call and/or an email from their team captains with details for the league prior to Friday 5/26.

We are meeting at 7:30pm on May 31st at Holy Angels for the draft dispersal. If at that time, drafted players do not pay, we'll open the league to free agents.

If you preregistered and do not receive a call, please come to the meeting on the 31st and I'll make sure you get to the appropriate team.

Currently there is a list of 14 players who registered before the deadline but after the draft list was filed. They will be given first opportunity to pay dues and be assigned to a team. After those 14 players have their opportunity, we'll offer spots to free agents who in attendance in the order in which they have arrived for the meeting.

I can't guarantee a spot, but at least there's a chance.

There may be players that registered that are involved with high school teams that may have games at that time. Is there a way that those people could contact someone to let them know they might not be at the meeting?

Your team captain will handle any known absences on the 31st. I suggest mailing a dues check to him.

If you are absent and don't prepay, your captain will have to pay for you to keep your spot.

Can we put all the rosters (with last team they played on) on the league website? It would be nice to see who all is on what teams and where they are playing/played last. Or where they are coaching etc...
