I would imagine that the win eases some of the pain for CSU after the troubles of last season. They really had to pull it together to win the game, after falling behind by two on the opening face of the 4th. The Buffs have to be really disappointed - not being able to hold onto the brass ring.
Kudos to the USLIA broadcast crew - that was excellent work! Guess I'll have to pony up to the Tip Jar. My only regret is that it wasn't the Wolverines playing in the game...

What happened to CSU last year that they sat out the National Championships?

Oh my gosh. There are worms all over the place. Did somebody open a can?

Long story short, there were elligibility issues that caused them to miss the tournament.
