DAY 2 -- MDIA Championships - Quarterfinals - Div B Begins
I agree also. My argument was just an illustration that teams approach the games differently and the examples I used are rather poignant. How is my argument weak? Teams approach consolation games differently. I just don't like using the games as a barometer for determining who actually is the better team.

Well, is there a final poll after the tournament? I don't believe so. That would seem to indicate that the only game that really matters is the championship game to determine who is #1. As somebody alluded to earlier, make the consolation games count.

Shoot for it! (for you Seinfeld fans, I got odds).

There was last year, and pretty sure at least the 3 years before that also. So if I were a betting man, I would say there is a final one this year as well.

This might be one of the silliest things I've heard.
Genius, if you look at the rest of the posts you will see that I am referring to consolation games.

yeah realistically, who cares, if you aren't playing for that number one spot, then who really cares. Have fun and yes, try and win, but you won't be number one so it doesn't matter, especially cause there is no final poll this year. I know we tried to win out, but we also had fun and played everyone yesterday against Lindenwood. Today we played a hardcore game against UCSD where we all played our starters, but both games really meant nothing cause they were consolations. You need to prove yourself in the regular season and then bring it at the tournament.
