Application State? Wow, that's a new one.
CCLA - 9 teams - 2 Voters
GRLC - 16 teams - 1 Voter
LSA - 10 teams - 2 Voters
PCLL - 4 teams - 1 Voter
PNCLL - 12 teams - 2 Voters
RMLC - 9 teams - 1 Voter
SELC - 13 teams - 4 Voters
UMLL - 6 teams- 1 Voter
WCLL - 8 teams- 2 Voters
More coaches in the GRLC should apply to vote, especially since the only voter is a division a coach. The largest conference should have more votes.

Also, how many Div. B teams in GRLC have an established coach or someone that follows GRLC or USL MDIA for that matter? Most GRLC Div. B teams sort of have a new ex-player still around as coach each year. Nebraska with Randy Howard is the only established Div. B coach I can think of off the top of my head.

I don't agree. I mean, I know it has nothing to do with the number of teams that dictates how many voters the GRLC has, rather it has to do with how many GRLC people applied. But while the GRLC is the newest conference in name, it was originally part of the CCLA and the GRLC Commissioner is the same person who was the CCLA Commissioner before the split. So the GRLC has been around for a while, just not in name.

I think the SELC Teams are better then what is in this Poll. App. State should be in the top 25 and Davidson should be in the top 5.

My post was written in a hurry and I did not have time to fully explain my thinking behind it. I meant to convey the fact their are a number of GRLC B teams that are newer teams in the MDIA. I do agree that there are some teams in the B division that have been around for some time in other conferences. But to expect a person to know the league and where to place teams with little experience playing teams outside of their geographic location is no fair to that person or to the people who do have that experience around the country. I am sure we will never know who applied to become a B division poll voter, maybe a lot of people from the GRLC did apply but were not selected. I think, as well as many others probably feel that because the MDIA is in the infancy of a National Poll for the B teams it is better to go with names that have been around for a while rather than on conference affiliation. I am sure you will see a closer relationship between the voters and the number of teams in specific conferences in the future.
