I believe I already know the answer, but I did not know if having three teams instead of two makes a difference. I am assuming players on the third-team All-Conference are not eligible for Academic All-America status.

congratulations to everyone that made the all-conference team. while all-conference selection can never be perfect, i believe that this year's team is more accurate and more representative than last year's team.

as we continue to try to improve the selection process, i would welcome anyone to pm me with comments or suggestions. any player or coach that feels slighted or insulted by inclusion/omission from the all-conference team should read the division b all-conference thread in the pncll forum and then contact me by pm or email.

with respect to the academic all-conference team, please submit player transcripts to commissioner mosher as soon as possible. any player with a cumulative grade point average of 3.2 or higher is encouraged to submit his transcript.

i would like to thank each and every division b player, staff member and coach for a very successful season in 2006. without your cooperation and assistance my role as division b director would have been even rougher. many teams made sacrifices and many teams stepped up to help. thank you, thank you, thank you.

congratulations to ethan ritz, a very deserving coach of the year, and the augustana coaching staff. i am extremely happy that both augustana and harding will have the opportunity to represent the grlc at the national tournament next week. good luck and safe travels.
