All Conference Teams

Anybody give me the rundown on the Div. A all-conference selections? I don't care about the B-Div., just the A.
If you ever fall off the Sears Tower, just go real limp, because maybe you'll look like a dummy and people will try to catch you because, hey, free dummy.

I don't know if I agree with Pete J dropping all the way to HM goalie.

I agree...he should be at least 1 or 2. No offense to the guy from Utah.

How can you say such blasphemy? The Utah goalie Jeremy Johnson was the singlehanded reason that Utah got as far as they did. Yes Pete Jokisch has had a tough year but we don't need to throw him a pity party. I guarantee the Utah goalie saw a substantially greater amount of shots contrary to how good CSU's defense is and still kept Utah in the mix for nationals. If anything he should also be given a strong look for All-American.

 The real shock was BYU's goalie being that high, I completely don't understand it, or two of the three first team midfielders. There are some extreme biases in this league that need to be acknowledged, but maybe the games I saw they were having off games. Who knows, maybe the all wise and wicked awesome Chuck Norris...

Nope, he is too busy promoting his solution to World Hunger, gathering all the cows and bears in the world to one specified area and then roundhouse kicking them to the needed regions of the world. If that fails then he suggested hijacking a rocket and riding it to the moon where he can demonstrate a marshall law punch and deliver unlimited supply of moon cheese to the world..

Where am I? I blacked out.

2006 Division A Goaltender Statistics

# Name School Games Saves GA GAA Save %
1. Makechnie BYU 17 159 73 4.29 0.685
2. Johnson Utah 14 184 108 7.71 0.630
3. Jokisch CSU - F 14 141 93 6.64 0.603
4. Gorrell Utah St 10 86 58 5.80 0.597
5. Ehinger Colorado 15 124 86 5.73 0.590
6. Powers BYU 5 59 46 9.20 0.562
7. Lee Utah St 11 121 130 11.82 0.482

Still think Makechnie doesn't deserve the recognition? The stats don't lie. I'm trying to remember how they fared head-to-head? Oh yea...your guy gave up 16 goals whereas Glenn only allowed 5. I'd take Makechnie anyday of the week versus Johnson.

How did Jokisch not make 1st team? Saw him play at the Whittier game and he was the best player on the field. I feign to believe he would be a wise man's pick over the other two goalies

I am sick to my stomach and embarrassed that you even started this discussion. Trainer Dan your blind faith and loyalty to your players never stops not even after all the voting has been done. If you are as supportive and respectful as people say, you wouldn't be in here bad mouthing the winners/losers of the All-conference awards you would be congratulating them and wishing them the best with what ever comes next.

If I was to waste my time and go back through all your posts in these forums I would be willing to bet that I would never once find a post from you in support of a player from another team in this league or for another team outside of Provo. I'm disappointed in you and if our league is ever gonna grow and get bigger and better it's gonna because on the field we compete as best we can and off the field we support all the winners and losers.

To those of you going to Plano I wish you the best of luck and I beg you to please bring the Trophys (A and B Division) back to the RMLC where it belongs.

I was just supporting the vote of Makechnie to 2nd team all-conference. Mr. Gummi Bear questioned whether Glenn even deserved that, which he obviously did. Somebody attacks my guy, yea I'm going to back him up. I will continue to do so. To say that I don't think that anyone else in the RMLC is good or that I don't think anyone outside of Provo is worth anything is ridiculous.

Sounds like you are supporting the conference in that statement.

Hmmm, there's another personal attack at Jeremy.

I don't know who Gummi Bear is or what team he plays for. Maybe you do. But, it seems like you feel like Glenn got the shaft and that Jeremy doesn't deserve the recognition and you are using this opportunity to put a black eye on the situation.

To say that I don't think that anyone else in the RMLC is good or that I don't think anyone outside of Provo is worth anything is ridiculous.

Well you certainly haven't done much to make me think otherwise.
