The semis will be held at Russell Creek. So that is Tuesday through Friday. Four games on each field a day. Only the championships will be in Kimbrough Stadium.

My apologies, you're right, I sit corrected. At any rate, right now the fields are in great shape and ready to go.

I don't know. I bet they wouldn't have minded playing other opponents for a change of pace.

Final Poll
Anybody else around here surprised that Michigan got a #1 vote in the final poll? The Wolverines had been my #1 two weeks ago, but they lost to a team outside the Top 20 (at the time, anyway) and didn't even make their conference finals. The team that beat them, MSU, got waxed by Oakland in the CCLA Finals. Cetainly the Wolverines are an elite team, and have as good a shot as anybody to win in Plano. But a #1 vote for Michigan after the semi-final loss? Somebody explain this one...

I am not on the team, but I don't think UCSB minds playing UCSD and Sonoma again. UCSB has played CSU, BYU, Colorado, Michigan, Arizona and Cal Poly as well as UCSD and SSU. Last year they played FSU and Oregon so they are familiar with all the top ranked teams not just the WCLL teams. With all the travel these days most of the top teams are familiar with each other.

I was just kidding around, Bluevelvet. It seems like there will be quite a few teams going at each other for a third time this year. I'm sure the Gauchos would LOVE the chance for another rematch.

Utah and Poly
Utah and Poly- I agree both deserve to be there, but the question will always be.. wo should not be there to allow Utah in? That does not include AQ's of course.

I was curious to see who Flip would vote for as #1. For the record, Parker, I thought you guys got hosed too. You would have stood a better chance if more of the voters saw theRMLC semi game. You guys were nails!

Actually, while it might be warm, my recollections of Dallas is that it isn't that humid.

it may not be as humid as houston, but i grew up there, and trust me, its humid... in the summer, you take a shower, step outside for just a few minutes, and you feel like you need to take another shower

amen...it creates epic battles between those teams. The UCSD UCSB matchup is awesome.
can't wait.
