I haven't seen a "Battlecat" reference in a long, long time. Glad to see your legacy (ahem) is alive and well in onion country, Pete.

Hey Reed, when you use the Ram Dodge in Ireland do you still bleed from the same spot on your forehead?. .. or has that spot finally healed. . .Those damn leprechaun's are hard to hit, aren't they?
Good to hear that your "style" of play hasn't changed in your older years. . .
I'm proud of you.

I just wanted to give a shout out to all the teams at the PNCLL tournament this year...PLU & WWU especially since they both played great games against us. Good luck to you all in the off-season and we'll see you next year I'm sure. Also thanks to our Executive Board for working the tables and clocks and all that behind the scenes stuff...people seem to like to rag on you guys, but we really appreciate the help and support.
Lacrosse in Montana...

Sounds like a "meathead" who couldn't measure up to Whitman's entrance requirements to me! Whitman is full of athletic students now and has been in the past. Peter Lewicki for example went to Whitman, was a class act on and off the field (and still is for that matter) was an excellent lacrosse player at Whitman, and is far from a "nerd" or "Hippie"! (Sorry to single you out Peter, but since you post here and people know you, you are a good example to use) There have been many wonderful student athletes to come thru Whitman over the years. Keep in mind that I believe the first year SFU was in the PNCLL that they played Whitman for the championship that year and it was a pretty incredible game if my memory serves me correctly. If you are going to say that Whitman is completely unathletic and full of "nerds" & "Hippies", then I think you are going to have to categorize more schools like that as well. While I don't have the actual enrollment numbers in front of me, are you going to categorize other schools like Harvard, Yale, MIT, and Princeton this way as well? Every school has their share of "meatheads", "Nerds", "Hippies", and whatever other derogatory terms you can come up with to describe people who aren't like you. Perhaps you should learn some tolerance and acceptance for those people who aren't like you, and spend a little less time name calling and throwing out derogatory terms!

Final Four
I understand that most of the Boise State team made the long drive to Tigard just to be part of the scene and watch the playoffs. Very classy move by the Broncos, it sure is great to have you guys in the PNCLL!
I look forward to having both our representatives in Plano advance past the first-round and make a run at a national title in their respective divisions.
Thanks to all 20 PNCLL teams for making 2006 a memorable season.

Actually, I believe that if you look up "Classless, Unathletic Hippie Nerd" in the dictionary, there is a picture of Peter Lewicki in his Whitman Lacrosse uniform....

Yeah, and as a student and a fan, I'd like to say that it is true that Whitman is full of unathletic hippies and nerds. I think that the number of meatheads has dramatically gone down since the mid to late 1990s. As an academic institution whose admissions standards are extremely high and get higher every year, it gets harder to get meatheads and athletic people here. There are some meatheads still left, but there numbers are dwindling. I think that you'd have to cross Isaacs Ave. and visit the Beta house to find any meatheads still left. It's too bad but it's reality. I've heard stories about his Lewicki guy. Is he as big of a meathead as people say he is?

rumor has it that this fellow lewicki once threw TWO babes on a mechanical bull. if it wasn't the double horseshoe that got them to spew everywhere, it was definately the stench of the whey protein seeping out of his sweaty pores. apparently the last thing the bar patrons remember him shouting was "YOU MESS WITH BULL, YOU GET THE HORNS! SPAK, WHERE MY KEYS AT?!"
