If this is supposed to be funny, maybe we could revisit UCSB's missteps in the 2004 season. Or have the courts sealed those records? And my post indicates that your "joke" wasn't funny. I would be happy to crack off a "knee-slapper" or two about the 2004 season if you would like. I'm pretty sure that two or three of our seniors who worked their entire career for the chance to play in that tournament wouldn't find it funny either. Nor would all of the parents and players who paid for tickets to Minnesota out of their own pocket and then couldn't go at the last moment. But asking for any sort of consideration or common courtesy with regard to a very damaging and emotional situation is probably a little much . . . Ole, indeed.

Is it not reasonable for a #6 to drop down to a #12??

In short, no. In fact, it is preposterous.

I bet if it was, lets say, umm anyone not in the WCLL it would be possible.

This has nothing to do with the WCLL. Why does that always come up? Get over it. There is no way any team from any conference drops from #6 to #12 or #13 on the basis of losing to a team in the Top 10. Sorry, it just won't happen. UCSB will drop, but I expect it to be to around #9 or #10.
