Texans, Williams agree to contract

In what has wound up as a stunning turn of events, the Houston Texans have agreed to terms with Mario Williams and will make the N.C. State defensive end the No. 1 pick in Saturday's draft.

So with the number one pick decided in the draft, where does that move Bush, Leinhart and Young to? I imagine that Bush will go to the number 2 pick but will someone try to trade up to get him from the Saints?

I have way too much time on my hands

Texans put end to intrigue by signing Mario Williams

NEW YORK (AP) -- All NFL drafts have lots of intrigue near the top. This year, the Houston Texans pulled off a shocker.

The Texans signed North Carolina State defensive end Mario Williams on Friday night, snubbing Heisman Trophy winner Reggie Bush for the No. 1 overall selection in one of the most surprising moves in NFL history.

It sounds like Bush may fall to the third pick or lower

Will the New Orleans Saints, with expensive free agent Drew Brees solving their quarterbacking woes, take Bush? Or go for the best blocker in this -- and perhaps many -- drafts, Virginia tackle D'Brickashaw Ferguson? Or even trade the pick to teams eager to grab prime quarterback prospects Matt Leinart and Vince Young?

I doupt that Bush falls out of the Top 3 but its interesting. The Saints really need a tackle to protect Brees and the Titans really need another quarterback.

That's what you get for arguing between 59 million and 56 million.

With all the Jets needs, I'm going to have a problem if they draft R.Bush. If they trade up to get him, I'll be furious.

Say it with me - D'Brickashaw.....

I heard from a diehard packer fan that Green Bay was negotiating with New Orleans for the second pick, which they would likely use to get Bush. Needless to say, he was really excited about tomorrow.

Something to remember...Houston is in the AFC South.

Two words...Peyton Manning.

This is a map for success for both players-

Tennessee- Matt Leinhart
Oakland/NY Jets- Vince Young

This is a map of tragedy for both players-

Tennessee- Vince Young
Oakland- Matt Leinhart

I will not bore you all with my reasoning but believe me, I am concerned.
