RMLC Championships

Postby onpoint on Sat Apr 22, 2006 11:39 pm

I know they are out there somewhere, but can't find them. Does anyone have the tie-breakers for the RMLC Division A? Here are the results:

BYU - 3-1: 3 goal win over CSU; 2 goal loss to CU; 10 goal win over UU
CSU - 3-1: 3 goal loss to BYU; 3 goal win over CU; 10 goal win over UU
CU - 3-1: 2 goal win over BYU; 3 goal loss to CSU; 3 goal win over UU
Utah - 1-3

USU - 0-4
Always on point . . .

RMLC Tie Breaking Procedures
A. If multi team tie...(Note: Use these criteria until one team is eliminated (Up or down), then go back to start.) If the situation only involves a two-way tie, skip to B. below.
1. Record vs Common Out-of-Conference opponent. (All teams must have played the same opponent) If still a tie, then...
2. Goal differential between the teams that are tied, (No award greater than 8 allowed for routs) If still a tie, then...
3. Goal Differential - total league schedule. (No award greater than 8 allowed for routs)

B. If a two way tie...
1. Head to head result. If no decision, then,
2. Compare record within the Conference. If no decision, then,
3. Record vs common Out of Conference opponent. (All teams must have played the same opponent) If still a tie, then...
4. Goal differential between teams that are tied, (No award greater than 8 allowed for routs) If still a tie, then...
5. Goal Differential between total league schedules. (No award greater than 8 allowed for routs)

I believe their only common OOC opponent is UCSB. CSU beat them, and CU and BYU lost to them. It looks like CSU will be the #1 seed in the RMLC, and will face UT in the semifinals. BYU will be the #2, and will face the #3 CU Buffs in the other semifinal.

Can anyone confirm this?

I don't know what time your getting into Logan If anyone is around WED's night Sky View High School is Playing Logan High at 1500 East and 1000 North 5PM weds night. This is three blocks away from USU.

Sky View beat Logan at the Jordon Beetdigger Tourney in March by only one point, so its up for grabs. Should be an intense game indeed, both teams are out for blood and this game will leave one team undefeated in conference play.

See you their..

Up to 2.65? We're over $3 here on every single grade...

Who's going to be up there with live scoring updates on Friday? I'm really unhappy that I can't make the drive from Provo but work and family has to come first. Go Cougars!
If you ever fall off the Sears Tower, just go real limp, because maybe you'll look like a dummy and people will try to catch you because, hey, free dummy.
