Oregon State is probably the most improved team, going from 4-4 (2-4 Division) last year to 8-6 (5-1 Division) this year. They were a non-playoff team last year and are now second in the league this year. They've got the same big guns stats-wise, but have clearly gotten a lot better. Sounds like Coach of the Year to me.

I have been pretty quiet all year, but I've gotta give some love to my beavers for all-conference...
On Attack-
Tyler Tipton-The guy averages just over 4 points/game, and the name speaks for itself.
Jordan Phillips- He has 45 assists this year, and is the 7th leading points getter in the league.
Middie-
Jon Provancher-Most of Jordan's assists have gone to Jon this year; these two have some kind of psycic connection on the field. Jon is definitely one of the more underrated midfielders in the league.
Defense-
Steve Carpenter-1st team last year and he has just gotten bigger, faster, and stronger. definitely the best 1 on 1 pole in the league.
Matt Nelson-Matt is the most underrated defensman of the league. We payed high school ball at West Linn, and I know his play. He is not a flashy type guy, but he does all of the little things, and is great all around defensman. Anyone that watched his game against U of O has to agree that he is well deserving of some recognition.
Coach of the year-
Mitch Hutchinson-Things have changed greatly from when I was on this team a few years ago, thanks largely in part to Mitch. Mitch (BY HIMSELF) has done a great job with the guys he has, and is trying to take lacrosse at Oregon State to the next level.

I'm going to have to agree with your "All-OSU" team. Both Nelson and Carpenter move rather well. The offfensive players you chose put up some good numbers. And it does look like OSU had a little bit better of a season this year. Whether this is coaching or not is up to the determination of the OSU players.

Josh, are you going to be in Tigard this weekend? I hope to see you there. . .and you can leave that orange goalie stick at home. . .

After being D'ed up by Carpenter along with the best D pole on every other team in the PNCLL, I can honestly say that Todd Jolly (UO) was by far the best defender.

Tipton's overrated. Anyone who can only score with one hand shouldn't be first team all league attack. I've seen better attackmen in the league this year than him. I'd take Scrape-Modes word on who the Best one on one D-Man in the league is, who better to judge than the best one on one attackman. Todd Jolly needs to be an All-American, he consistantly takes on the other teams #1 attackman. He can clear the ball through traffic a lot better than Carp too.
2006 All-Star Game: Oregon vs. PNCLL
my prediction: UO 8, PNCLL 5
