WOW....sounds like an amazing game. High scoring, playoff spot on the line. Congrats on the win to Coast Guard...but it look like BSC has some talent and could be back next season. Good luck to all teams in the playoffs.

The CG v. BSC was a great game. Bridgewater really played hard and showed a lot of resiliance. They came back numerous times and took the lead a few times. In the end Kircher made a couple of great plays late, but Bridgewater never quit. Their coaches did a great job and I hope that things work out for them there and that they can put things back together.
Their face off guy did a great job all night, and their goaltender played outstanding, making a couple of great point blank saves that kept the game close.

I believe URI and BSC are playing Thursday. Even though it will have no bearing on the playoffs, it's good to see both teams wanting to play the game.

I'm going to go with BSC by 2, and look for them to bring some momentum into 2007.

URI 11
BSC 6

I got there with around 7 min. left in the third quarter and it was 10-3. BSC's goalie Adam Slys did not let up a goal from that point until 4 seconds left in the game. Senior Jon Murphy had two goals in his final game in a Bear uniform. Sr. Bill Vacca was outstanding facing off and at midfield, and Sr. Mike Brennan looked solid at close D, and even played some D mid, looking pretty good with a shorty. It will be good to get those guys on the Alumni team for the 7th Annual Alumni Game in October.
