This season, we will rely on each MDIA team to input and maintain their own data on the USLIA.com site. The success of this voluntary system and the entire USLIA.com site relies on accurate, timely information from all MDIA teams, coast to coast.
Pitt Asst. Coach and CCLA Forum Moderator Mike Messina will be the CCLA Conference Level Admin for the new USLIA.com database. (This applies to both CCLA Division A and Division B teams.)
The CCLA Head Coaches are asked to contact Mike via e-mail, as soon as possible, for information on how to access the database. Mike's e-mail is:
Teppegtb at aol dot com
Mike will set up an individual user account for each CCLA Team to access their page on USLIA.com. Once this account is set up, teams can access the site to input their team info, team roster, and the all important schedule of 2005 games.
Note that you will only input home games to avoid duplicate games in the master database. (If you are the host team for a neutral site game, you will need to enter this game as well.) You can also input your team info, roster, link to team web site, etc.
Your participation in this system is highly encouraged. It will provide many benefits. The new database will aid poll voters in making their poll votes in the race to the Div. A & Div. B championships in Minnesota. It will aid the voters in the very important All-America selection process. The bottom line is that this new system will benefit the entire association of 195 MDIA teams across the country.
CCLA teams should contact Mike directly via e-mail or Private Message (PM) if you have problems or questions.
(The CCLA team names listed below will be changed to black once they have contacted Mike for a user account.)

Couple of pointers on inputting your information for all teams
1. Only enter your home games. This includes neutral site games where you are the designated home team.
2. Only enter MDIA vs. MDIA games. No varsity opponents, men's post collegiate clubs, or non-MDIA collegiate club opponents.
3. When enter your home page address, be sure to use the full web address (URL). This includes the "http://" part in front of www.aggielacrosse.com. If you don't put in the full address, the link will be invalid.
4. When entering phone numbers, use the same consistent format as follows:
404-555-1212
Be sure to use dashes (not parenthesis or periods or slash marks) and the appropriate area code.
5. You can delete contacts now, if you made an earlier mistake.

All Teams in red above need to have Coach or President email me to get their database entry set up. I know its repetitive to input rosters multiple times, but its for a good cause...

It only works if you are searching for MDIA teams. You cannot use the system to post games against varsity opponents, non-MDIA college club teams, or other post-collegiate club teams.
The system is working fine. Just post the state of the team you are trying to add and it should present all of the options in a drop down menu.
Let us know if you have any further errors or problems.

Make sure you are hitting the CONTINUE button, not just pressing enter. I just added your 9am game with Ball State on 4/16/05. The system works like a charm. You should be able to enter in all the rest of your home games. with no problems.

Its possible that he entered the data into the USL-MDIA administration page and not to the USLIA.com page(two separate databases). He emailed me and i set up the information and sent it back. Hopefully it works...

Databases
I know others have probably crossed this bridge before, but is there any reason the two databases cannot be combined? It is the same information.
All of the eligibility information is the same as the roster information. It just means spending another two hours inputting information. I'm not gripping. The site is great and I missed not having it. This is only a suggestion to make it easier for everyone (except the programmer that is).
Thanks.

Two different sites. Two different entitites. Unfortunately, for now, we can't combine information. Perhaps next year.
Two hours Dwayne? You typing with one finger while eating, watching TV and talking on the phone? Took me 15 minutes my man.

Stil time for CCLA teams to contact me and set up a uslia.com database account. Get your team information and scores/stats listed on uslia.com. If your team hasn't done so yet, just email me at teppegtb@aol.com to get started.
